It is important to have accommodation that suits your needs and budget, is comfortable, and has the right atmosphere while you learn Russian language in Riga. At Liden & Denz, we understand that every student has their own requirements and expectations, and we therefore offer several accommodation options. A dedicated staff-member inspects all accommodation options on a regular basis, and our accommodation officer makes every effort to meet each student’s particular needs and interests as closely as possible when assigning housing. All accommodations are easily accessible from Liden & Denz campus and Riga Old Town. Students may also stay with friends or find their own private accommodation. However, they will not be able to benefit from our free pick-up services that we provide to students staying with a host family or in a shared Liden & Denz flat.
Living with a host family ensures that you will be totally immersed in the Russian language and places you in a local context. Our host families are handpicked to ensure that students will immediately feel right at home. These families come from different backgrounds, but all are sociable, genuinely interested in meeting new people, patient, and understanding when students are not yet confident in their language skills when they begin to learn Russian in Riga.
Students have their own bedroom with all necessary amenities and can choose between breakfast only and a half-board (breakfast and dinner) option. Any dietary requirements will be taken into consideration at the time of booking for no extra charge.
The fee for host family accommodation is calculated from Sunday to Sunday. Students who arrive earlier than Sunday will be subject to additional fees with five or more extra days calculated as equivalent to one week.

In Riga, we have several apartments located in a walkable distance from the Liden & Denz campus All flats have single bedrooms (maximum 4 per apartment), a shared bathroom, and a kitchen. Standard check-in/check-out is around midday on Sundays. If you wish to arrive earlier or depart later, it is a matter of availability and extra charges will apply.
