A home-stay is when you stay in the home of a carefully selected family or couple. Our host families love to host individuals around the world, introduce them to Russian and Siberian culture, and provide them the safe and patient space they need to improve their Russian language skills. If you choose to stay with a host family, you will have your own bedroom, but share the bathroom and kitchen with your hosts. For meals, you can choose to a half-board (breakfast and dinner) with your family, or just breakfast. All home-stay accommodations are calculated from Sunday to Sunday, with Sunday being the official check in and out date. If you arrive on another day, you will have to pay additional accommodation fees. Five or more additional days is considered equal to an extra week.
If you want to live among your fellow classmates so you can continue to practice Russian outside of the classroom, opting for a shared flat is a great choice. Liden & Denz’s shared flats feature private bedrooms, and shared bathrooms and kitchens. All bed linens, towels, and kitchen supplies are provided, and each flat is equipped with a washing machine and WiFi. You can travel between our flats and the campus in 30 minutes. For shared flats, our standard check-in and out date is Sunday. If you choose to arrive earlier than Sunday, additional fees will apply. If you need to stay one or more extra nights it will be calculated as one week for fee purposes.
